I have always had a love of the great outdoors and the beauty it has to offer. Born and raised in small town Newfoundland, I spent a great deal of my time either hunting, fishing, camping or just hiking the trails that started literally at my back door. My love of photography did not surface until my early 20s when I traded a VCR with a friend for his Richo KR5 Super II. That year, everywhere I went, I took my camera and my dog, Lady. Both have been gone for a few years now, but my love of both still lives on.
As the years passed, my passion for photography and the outdoors took a backseat to my commitments to my family and my career. Now that my kids are getting a little older I have once again taken to the outdoors and photography. I have taken the last couple of years and committed as much time as possible to developing and honing my skills as a photographer. Thankfully I have the loving support of my beautiful wife, Tara and my wonderful children, Samantha, Zoë and Joshua, without whom this would not be nearly as fun or fulfilling.
